Lesson 5. The main secret of a true friendship - EngTips

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Listen carefully to the opinions of these four people. Do you agree with the person? Circle your opinion.

SHARING YOUR OPINIONS

Your teacher will write the four names (Amy, etc.) on the board, and then point to one of the names and ask about each one. For example:

Teacher: Nicole, what do you think of Amy’s opinion?

Nicole: I don’t agree with her. I don’t feel that everybody needs friends.

EXPRESSING YOUR IDEAS

With a partner, exchange your opinions about each of the ideas of the four people. Use this example:

First student: Do you agree with Amy?

Second student: Yes, I agree with her. I feel everybody needs friends. OR No, I disagree with Amy. I don’t feel that everybody needs friends. And you? Do you agree with Amy?

First student: Yes, I agree with her. I feel that everybody needs friends. OR No, I disagree with Amy. I don’t feel that everybody needs friends.
